Manually Updating Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

Note

It is an official update and you will get this soon, this post is for people who haven't got it yet and want to manually update your phone.

STEP 1

Download the update from the link given below(its from official website or you can go manually) and copy it to memory card in your phone, anywhere you want. Without memory card you can not update, it is mandatory. Not even from OTG (from Pendrive).

STEP 2

Now power off your phone and then restart it by pressing Volume Down Key and Power Key together, you will be entering into recovery mode as shown above. (Use Volume Up Button to go Up and Volume Down Button to go Down and Power Button to Select option), Now chose the option: Apply Update from External Storage.

STEP 3

Now provide the path of your downloaded update and press on it.
Your phone will start updating and will update faster from regular update.
