Mi Mix Alpha officially announced in China, Surround Display Technology

Xiaomi unveiled many smart products in their event which held on 24 Sept in China but the main highlight of their event was Mi Mix Alpha, which is altogether a new and fresh smartphone from Xiaomi. The concept of the screen is similar to OPPO's Waterfall Display design but in a way more extended version. Xiaomi calls it Surround Display Technology in which the whole display is curved from the sides and covers almost all the back portion. In the first appearance, it looks like a folding smartphone but it is not.

Mi Mix Alpha Specs

Mi Mix Alpha Display is of 7.92 Inches with Surround Display Technology which makes its Screen to Body Ratio up to 180.6%. It is a flexible OLED screen.
The Camera department of Mi Mix Alpha is equipped with a Triple Camera setup of 20MP + 12MP + 108MP. 108MP is the main camera and the other 20MP is a Wide lens with SONY IMX350 having f/2.2 aperture and 117 Degree field of view and 12MP lens is a Depth sensor with Samsung S5K2L7 having f/2.0 aperture and 2X Optical Zoom. It does not have a front camera because of the Surround Display Technology, the rear camera is able to act as Front camera. Also, it is the first smartphone in the world which is equipped with a 108MP camera.
Mi Mix Alpha Processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ which is made on the 7nm process. For the handling of graphics processing, it is given Adreno 640 GPU. It runs on MIUI 11 which is based on Android OS. It has no physical buttons for power and volume but you get support on pressure-sensitive sensors by which you can virtually manage these things.
Mi Mix Alpha Battery is of 4050mah having the support of 40W Fast Charging. It comes in one memory and storage options of 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Mi Mix Alpha Price is around 2Lakh rupees if we convert the Chinese pricing that is 19999 Yuan but the availability of this smartphone is not confirmed in India yet.
