It is a very powerful tool by which you can show people, the type of work or business you do. You can add your whole bio, work, address, etc on it. Setting up Google My Business

Step 1

On the google search bar type "Google My Business" and open the second result as shown

Open your Gmail and on the top right side, click on the 9 dotted box as shown in the image. Now click on the My Business logo.

Now click on Sign in and enter your email(it should be by which you want to be listed on google) and password.

From here, the real work begins. After signing in you will be asked to type your business name (here, Digital marketer Deepak), by which you want to be get searched.

Now add your business category for better results(here, IT support and services).

Now add the office phone number and your website URL, if any otherwise skip.

Now for confirming your business listing, Google needs your verification. It will be done by sending OTP to your given number or by post to your address. Nowadays OTP is common, but sometimes post also comes on your registered address with a 6 digit code to verify your address and that 6 digit code will be asked after the time you should be got your post.

Step 9

All things are set now, after a few days you will get a mail confirming that your business listing is listed on google and how it looks. As much as the description you can give about your work, you should give on Google My Business.
